Walt is the most interesting discussion leader I have had. His War and Peace is a resource for history, philosophy, literature, and advancement of thinking. He is a very smart person which makes the class discussions very interesting. He also knows so much history and philosophy, that this class is not just learning the course. The book itself is the best. If you are not going to read the book, the ideas he talks about still will teach you something in life.

Anyone who hasen't had him yet should take him! He is a fantastic teacher with some very interesting ideas and lots of funny stories and jokes! You learn a lot in his classes wihtout feeling like you are totally overloaded.
