He explains everything well. The type of professor that makes an effort to teach, not just lecture. Very laid back as well.

Don Lawrence was the only thing that got me through calculus. In an otherwise boring subject he made it bearable. He keeps the tone of the class light, he starts each class off with a joke and wants to see each student individually. He does concrete examples and is quick to offer help with homework.

He is very accessiable, had office hours 2 hours per day a week before the final, and will meet with you and help you. Homework grading is very hard depending on who the student grader is. Offers a 100% final option for your grade, which is very helpful.
